Death In Paradise’s Ralf Little explains why he despises the band Parker Nelson & Co.

Ralf Little, who plays DI Neville Parker in Death in Paradise, recently said that there is at least one thing he doesn’t like about being Neville Parker.

Since series 9, the actor has played the detective on BBC’s popular crime show, but he has said that he doesn’t like having to shave for the part.

In an Instagram video with the title “The things I do to become DI Neville Parker,” Little walks to the makeup trailer to shave with a full beard.

He points to his beard and says, “I have to get rid of this.” He also says, “I hate being clean-shaven, but here we go.”

Little keeps trying different styles with his black beard until he gets rid of it completely. He says, “I think we got a Neville’s new look, guys!”

Little just played Parker again in the 12th season of Death in Paradise, making him the detective who has been on the show the longest.

He told Hello! Magazine about his four-season run, “I think it’s really, really cool and flattering that I’ve been able to do it for so long.”

The actor was also in two Christmas specials, one of which was shown this holiday season. In the latest episode, which aired on Christmas Day, Chelsea Edge played a tourist named Sophie Chambers, who was also the DI’s new crush.
